Pizza Senza Frontiere - World Pizza Champion Games will be held in Rimini from 18 to 22 January 2025 within the Sigep World International Fair and will bring together professionals from all over Italy and from all over the world who will compete in 20 categories of competition in five days, to show their abilities to the juries.
The first competition of the championship will begin on Monday 20 January which will put the over 600 participants from all over the world to the test. The initiative will be included in the context of the SIGEP World fair which will take place in the second half of January at the Rimini Fair. The event will be a meeting place and synergy among the major international players in the EnoagroRoStimento sector.
Pizza Senza Frontiere is organized by Ristorazione Italiana Magazine, inside SIGEP World, in collaboration with IEG Expo, under the patronage of Regione Emilia Romagna, APN, Master Pizza Champion, AVPN, APR.
The event is open to all pizza chefs who have turned 18 years old. Registrations are open until the available places are exhausted and in any case no later than 31 December 2024.
On Wednesday 22 February, at the end of the competitions, the awards will take place. The certificates of participation in each competitor will obviously be delivered, the first 3 classified for each category and of course the winners of the same are rewarded, that is to say the NEW CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD. There will also be the assignment of innovative SPECIAL PRIZES:
• Pizza in rosa: the prize will be awarded to the woman who will get the highest score in one of the competitions (with the exception of acrobatic pizza).
• Pizzachef emergente: the under 30 pizza chef will be awarded with the highest absolute score in any of the competitions (with the exception of acrobatic pizza).
• Re delle pizze romane: this prize will be awarded to the pizza maker who in the three races of Roman pizza (pan, shovel, round to rolling pin) will obtain the best absolute result as a sum of the scores of the 3 races.
But the surprises don't end there! The best pizza chefs of the different categories will enter by right to the final of Master Pizza Champion, the first and only television talent dedicated to pizza which in 2025 reached the 10th edition.
